Brexit Briefing Paper No. 4
“Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.” -
And now we know why.
From today's Sunday Times (front page of the Business & Money Section)
"The European Aviation Safety Agency (AESA) is currently banned by the European Commission from holding emergency talks with [the CAA] to make contingency plans - or even discuss the issue - in the event of "no deal"
At least we know what we're dealing with. A bunch of petty children who can't bear to see their glorious little gravy train derailed for a moment by such minor issues as democracy (a word they only spit out through gritted teeth, and only when the cameras demand). They have, by stealth and hitherto unquestioned treaties acquired the power to close down the airspace of any nation that displeases them. And nobody can discuss it with the relevant authorities without their permission. Remind you of anyone? If you're thinking of Stalin, Hitler and a host of wannabee rulers of Europe, most of which are consigned to the forgotten pages of history, you'd be on the right lines. And this, ladies and gents, is why we have to get the hell out of the EU, there is no price too great. Hell truly hath no fury like a bureaucrat scorned, indeed.
Any organisation which would willingly send our economy back to the age of sail (and only because they hadn't thought to legislate against that form of transport) should be told in no uncertain terms to f**k right off.His heart is in the right place - shame we can't say the same about his brain... -

But I guess you mean the EU. Telling them to f**k right off will achieve what, exactly? A hard brexit leading to the consequences outlined?Down with racism. Long live miscegenation!Comment

And look it's coming true.

Who is this Dr. Andrew Watt and why should we give weight to what he has written?

All treaties have to be agreed by all countries including Britain.

2 years ago it was all about how we hold all the cards and according to Fox how it would be the "easiest deal in history".
The EU are doing what we would do in their position - playing all their cards in a negotiation - in this case using a treaty that was agreed by us.
The only childish actors are Brexiters who want to keep the bits of the EU that they want and ignore the others.
I blame the UK education system - apart from the higher end where it's excellent, it really has churned out a bunch of entitled, illogical, innumerate numpties.Hard Brexit now!
