        Why shares in a company drop straight away when it declared that it will run out of money in 12 months?

              I was visiting the folks at the weekend

              surprising in provincial towns how many shops are closed and how many high streets are filled with charity shops

              Which isn't a bad thing, I bought the rough guide to rome yesterday for 99p in unused condition with a list price of 12 quid

              Milan.
