Would say it's not just like the permanent residence paper for a EU citizen in the UK is not valid anymore after Brexit

I’ve just opened mine up to have a look at it.

Although it says “European Union” at the front, that’s all it says about the EU.

On the back it says “The possession of a passport does not exempt the holder from complying with the immigration regulations of any country, or from the need to obtain visas or other entry permits where required”.

Presumably whether you could continue to enter the EU would depend on the wording of the legislation / regulations. I doubt it would say “a passport with European Union on the front”, it’s more likely to say “valid passport issued by a member state”.

The semantics and arguments would them probably turn on whether the passport as issued counts as a valid passport (which it probably would still be) issued by a member state (which the U.K. was at the time of issue).

No doubt it will be argued over at length in the near future.

I don't think there will be any problems with the passports, there may however be a problem with an EU country allowing a non-EU person into their country :-)
Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

As long as we have no problems preventing losers like you from returning to Blighty it will be a price well worth paying.

                Number of Tory rebels grows.

Yet another Tory MP signals intention to vote for amendment to keep the UK in the single market

Lets face it the same 15 MP's who defeated the government before Christmas aint going to change their tune. It's Corbyn who'll decide not the Tories.

                I'm alright Jack

We should get our blue busses back as well. Much easier to see what's written on the side of them than those red ones...
