Apparently hardly anyone turned up to May's presentation about Britain being open for business.

A noticeable number of the audience started drifting out of the hall before the end. Global leaders like Canada’s Justin Trudeau and France’s Emmanuel Macron had used their stage time to give spirited rebuttals to protectionism and isolationism, and were greeted with rapturous applause. Macron even got a standing ovation. May’s speech was simply met with polite applause.

It was biggest audience for the most important presentation. Everyone was there, you're all liars, the photo is faked and the press are just reporting fake news...
Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

Look at the source and look at the author.

News story, Prime Minster gives speech and is applauded.

Eshe Nelson is a doom merchant, her articles and tweets tend to be all doom and gloom about the us and uk.

Though for some strange reason she seems to write only positive stuff about Macron. Mmm strange.

Well we could always go to a Tory newspaper:

Is Theresa May actually incapable of making a meaningful speech?

              https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/542434...-donald-trump/

Brexiters, Trump supporters, the right wing populists across the world all voted for these people as an act against the global elite, yet aren't these actually the global elite?

When one person says the speech was dreadful then sure yeah, you can dismiss it as an outlier.

                May's speech ghastly

Yes yes of course the UK is falling apart and we will all be reduced to selling our arse's on the street to foreigners to feed our children.

When we voted to leave in June 2016 the Uk stock market was going to crash - it didn't

The Uk was supposed to be in a recession right now - it's not

Sterling is now rallying against both dollar and euro - that's not supposed to happen

So we have a PM who is not a great public orator - it would seem that some countries have incredible rude and childish leaders who walk out halfway through someone's speech.

                    https://tradingeconomics.com/united-...-growth-annual

The British economy expanded by 1.5 percent year-on-year in the fourth quarter of 2017
Growth in Germany and the US is about 3%.

If you look at the graph UK growth is declining as the rest of the world booms and the UK hasn't even left the EU. The next recession isn't far away and then the UK is in deep trouble.
