So it is all about who rules Europe then and not about a European Union in which every country is equal?

At least you have the balls to come out and state your preferred intentions.

Well, the UK won't be equal because it's leaving. UK's choice. Now just have to make the best of it an deal with the consequences.

See my signature for what our relationship with the EU after Brexit should be.
It won't only be the EU that will be shoving regulations down the throat of the UK, you only have to see what the US did to Australia and Canada to see that both the EU and the US between them will be shoving all sorts of regulatory sh*te down the UK's throat. The UK won't have any choice because the vast majority of the UK's trade is shared between the EU and the US.

The UK will have very little control over its trade.

You just need to read a proper patriotic newspaper, to understand that the UK's strong trade position is unassailable. British tea, jam and biscuits will be at the heart of Britain's Brexit trade plans

That this absolute drivel, which you'd take to be an April fool's joke, is put forward by a leadership candidate and reported seriously in a so-called quality newspaper and, no doubt, taken seriously by many is just absolutely astonishing.
WTF happened to the education system in the last 30 years?

It's not only the EU that will be shoving regulations down the UK's throat, so will the US and this will leave behind a rather sickening chlorinated chicken taste.

If the UK had stayed in the EU, then no regulations could be shoved down their throat because they would have had a veto.

Indeed and we could have just chucked our lot in with the germans in 1939 and become a party to ruling a nazi europe.
