If Fillon wins the French election, he's basically a Thatcherite proposing significant reductions in tax and no doubt a much lighter touch on financial regulation, throw in TGV wine fuelled weekends to the French Alps or Riviera, then the idea of shifting your trading operation to "gay" Paris could become an attractive proposition.

    I'm alright Jack

Paul Nutter to become leader of UKIP

an apt name, I think he should appoint Richard Head as their spokesman for Economic Affairs.

Nah all the foreign companies that make our country great: Nissan, Honda, Toyota, Mini, Jaguar, JP Morgan, Citibank etc etc. etc. are still here
Some at least will change plans if tariffs/no passporting come in - I don't see an upside to their operations in that case, do you?
More worrying however is the rise in UK gilt yields.
        Hard Brexit now!

Looking at skiing trips, the cost has gone up by hundreds of squid!
Wouldn't mind being based in France/Switzerland/Germany in winter just for that alone.

Nah sold 2 BTLs I bought in the late 90s and stuck the proceeds (+ some legacy money) in non-sterling accounts abroad.
Post brexit when I buy the county you live in, remember to tug your forelock as my Bentley passes you by.
