Definitely an element of getting here while you can.

Once the door closes we'll be left with millions of immigrants in unskilled and semi skilled casual service sector employment. And come the inevitable recession those 'jobs' will disappear very quickly.

I can't see it working out well

So the unemployment rate falls again. Isn't that good?

Go on, you're having a laugh aren't you?

"The Office for National Statistics has changed the way it measures corporation tax receipts"

"The deterioration in the outlook — which is still a forecast and highly uncertain"

So the same people who came up with project fear one are repeating the figures.

Unemployment falling, inflation low, retail boom. Where is the gloom other than in a couple of pro eu papers?

Germans are losing faith in their media. Nowhere is this more apparent than in mistrust of refugee crisis media coverage. Where did journalists go wrong? And how much of this skepticism reflects a preference for rumors over facts? By SPIEGEL Staff"

‘Europe in danger of falling apart’: French PM Manuel Valls insists Paris and Berlin must lead | South China Morning Post

The EU is in danger of breaking apart unless France and Germany, in particular, work harder to stimulate growth and employment and heed citizens’ concerns, French Prime Minister Manuel Valls said in the German capital on Thursday.
Valls said the two countries, for decades the axis around which the EU revolved, had to help refocus the bloc to tackle an immigration crisis, a lack of solidarity between member states, Britain’s looming exit, and terrorism.
“Europe is in danger of falling apart,” Valls said at an event organised by the Sueddeutsche Zeitung newspaper. “So Germany and France have a huge responsibility.”
Such a pity we don't want to stay and help.

And by this time next year, both will very likely have different governments.
