Good Afternoon
I run my own LTD company and am currently contracting to a company.
They have came to me with a very good offer to go permanent. I declined this offer as I said I had corporation tax to catch up with from the financial year 2013 - 2014.
They came back with an offer to wipe off my full corporation tax (Approx 6K) to go permanent.
I was wondering if this is legal?
They said they would give me the cash but I stated that i would get taxed on anything they gave me.
They have said they would still be able to clear the tax for me but not give me the cash direct.
Obviously I will not be signing anything until I get it in writing but is there any legal way a company can clear my corporation tax legally?
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks
