The agency has informed that they will need me to electronically sign the contract using Docusign.

They have also given me an option of signing a paper copy instead.

The agency's arguments is that with docusign the process will be quick (instant) whereas we will need to post or scan/email back and forth with a paper copy.

Anyone used docusign before while dealing with agency contracts?

Going through this at the moment for my new gig. As always get it reviewed first they should supply you with an electronic copy you can send off. Oh and watch out for the EAA Opt Out one.

I can't see that it makes much difference, to be honest. It's not as if a delay in getting a physically signed contract equates to a delay in starting work.

Personally, I like to have a physical copy of what I'm agreeing to, so I can easily check it.

If it is signed by both parties, then yes.

Last couple of gigs have had contracts via DocuSign - all good from my perspective.
As others have said, easy enough to grab a PDF for QDOS or whomever to review, and to print out a hard copy for reference. There's even an Android app
