As I said hindsight is wonderful, I turned up at a recommended Chartered Accountancy and asked about setting up a LTD company, but was then given the IR35 investigations rising blurb and told that QC counsel recommended tax scheme was totally out of IR35...the rest is history...Originally posted by cojak View PostNot really.

Obviously now I realise that the Chartered Accountancy firm was affiliated to a scheme provider and was getting a payment every month, but it was sold by an accountant and I (like many others) thought they know best.
Yes I feel a prat,
but also annoyed how slick sales tactics were used to frighten many into going into these schemes.
