Fees for end of year accounts

Who's liable, me as an individual or the Ltd company?

The company is liable for payment, as the invoice should be addressed to the company.

You as a director should have signed the terms of engagement, but on behalf of the company.

You can become liable for company debts if you're negligent or fraudulent, or you agreed to be so.

Thank you for the quick reply.

I have a Ltd in the UK I no longer use. However, whilst I'm the sole director, I'm also resident in Germany. I needed to understand if I should be paying VAT or not.

        Whose accounts are they?
While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'

If your accountant is VAT registered, they will be billing YourCo in the UK so they will be charging VAT. If you're still registered on the standard VAT scheme you can obviously reclaim this.
