The company is liable for payment, as the invoice should be addressed to the company.
You as a director should have signed the terms of engagement, but on behalf of the company.
You can become liable for company debts if you're negligent or fraudulent, or you agreed to be so. -

If your accountant is VAT registered, they will be billing YourCo in the UK so they will be charging VAT. If you're still registered on the standard VAT scheme you can obviously reclaim this.Originally posted by scooterscot View PostThank you for the quick reply.
