OK, I've just put pen to paper on a new contract that will take me over 24 months in the city. Not the same site, but both within the "square mile".
So, given that I now fall foul of the 24 month rule, what can I still stick legit employee expense claims in for? I know standard to travel to client site etc is now out, but permies here at the bank get a taxi home and a free meal if they work late. There is no BIK on this for them, and obviosuly this IS there permananet work place.
Can my ltd co not, in a fit of generosity, provide the same to its employees ( ie me) when I work late? Of course Hector would have no idea when that was as Im on a daily rate. Being able to bag a few taxi recipts etc each month would make me smile, thinking of all those kids going without text books with the tax I save.
Any other tips for little things I can get away with now Im a "24 monther".
cheers
