How about paying for it for the first year, then you'll have a better idea of what's involved?

But shop around - you don't have to use the one the agency recommends.

If you use the one I recommend (inTouch), then I get a free month.

You mention that you have not worked with small company accounts for a while - I assume you are aware of iXBRL and RTI reporting requirements?

Similar experience- a number of our clients are accountants, but their forte isn't the minute of payroll and tax filing. In the grand scheme of things the monthly cost of an accountant isn't huge, and it takes a source of hassle off of you - same reason why I pay an IT bod each month, I could do it, but its not best use of my time.

and a good accountant saves you money, not costs you it IMO.

I thought about doing it myself, but then looked at what was involved. Although I could probably have struggled through it, I like to know that if Hector comes knocking I have an accountant with a lot of experience behind them

              (another +1 for InTouch)
