    Conflict of Interest

I am new to this game, but it has been pointed out to me that SJD Accountancy, Contractor Umbrella and Contractor UK are in common ownership.

I have also noticed that it is always the same people posting threads when the services of SJD or Contractor Umbrella are being recommended.

    Convenient or a conflict?

I bet this thread doesn't last long!

What great news - that means I can kick the dozen or so competitors off the site!!

Just for the record - we own Contractor Umbrella, not Contractor UK.
P.S. What Spreadsheet? Revolutionising the contracting market again.

        Who by?

I have noticed you are hoping around this forum spreading your subversion.

Some of us have been around here a while and like to help newbies or the interested when asked. We offer our advice free and we usualy defer to experts when we dont know.
None of the accountants on here hide behind non descriptive handles and that makes it obvious who and what they are.
They have our trust so we do not ask for their posts to be removed. They also ask the moderators permission before posting advertising.

It is my belief that you are some form of employee for the competition trying to undermine these people.
Why dont you try offering some free advice or join in on a topic showing your expertise. You may then get the trust and support of some very experienced, clued up and switched on contractors. You may even get mine.

<edit> Mods. Please don't ban this clown. I for one would like to show that we (as a forum) are open and willing to deal with our critics.

I am not qualified to give the above advice!

I cannot believe that he has even made me give a response!!!

Ignorant. Stupid. Immature. Unable to resolve simple arguments.

You'll fit right in as a contractor.
If you think my attitude stinks, you should smell my fingers.

I have made comments about contractorumbrella. I can say I do NOT work for them. At the moment, I am still using them, to process payroll, but as others know from questions I have been asking I have just gone limited.
And for the record, I will still say Contractorumbrella are superb - and I have had dealings with 2 other umbrellas in the past.

I used Contractor Umbrella for 6 weeks, they paid me late 3 times; missed my expenses and when I said I would complain on Contractor UK they said "that'll be difficult as Simon Dolland (SJD) owns it". When I complained about there performance the thread was removed.
