    ltd company to paye

I understand this topic may have been posted before...

this is my first post on here...... here goes.

are there any complications going from a ltd company

    (8 years...vat registered ) to P.A.Y.E.

I would be going P.A.Y.E with the company who I have been working

for as a ltd co for the past 3 years.

    all comments appreciated

Dunno, but either way your new employer will have a team of people who's job it will be to handle the complications

You mean complications as in you will be looking over your shoulder for the next 6 years fearing an IR35 investigation?

It should be quite simple, just prepare a P45 from your limited and give that to the new employer.

My one concern may be that becoming an employee for someone you've been a contractor for does somewhat make me question your IR35 status for the last few years. If you close down the company then in theory HMRC can't investigate it, but worth thinking about in the meantime......
