Have you got the funky hold music though? The one that stops every so often, gets your hopes up, then plays a record message from a Scottish lady to tell you that "your call will be answered as soon as possible"?

I wish! Most of the time we get to sit on hold like the general public.

We do have a Batphone number for self assessment queries, and that's useful at tax return time (plus it's staffed by decent staff who actually know what they're talking about some of the time). No such luck for PAYE, CT or VAT though.
