Jimbo me old son, that's contracting. Sounds to me like you are a permie (in spirit, if not in mind) and you've had a bit of a hard time. tulip happens, we all put up with it, but you need a bit of a thick skin. Every so often you'll do a great job and get canned, and someone else will do a tulip job and get renewed. Get over it, and if you can't, go permie. That way you do get to moan at someone when things like this happen. It won't make any difference but that's what HR people are there for.
