    started on Monday 1st Sept.

The interesting thing though is that an independent Scotland would have a constitution. If this is to be like those of other countries with constitutions, it may well outlaw retrospective changes in the law. Had the UK had such a constitution, this may well have prevented the entire debacle we are currently faced with.

In any event, I think independence would result in the can being kicked well down the road, and probably would be low on the priorities of a new independent Scotland, pursuing perhaps a couple of hundred citizens with complex historical tax histories.

All in all, probably a reason to vote Yes.
      Perhaps not?

The balance sheet at separation says that UK is owed 100 but because the person is now in Scotland, please pursue them and collect and when you do UK will pay Scotland the 20 I owe you. If you don't collect it, I'll not pay you, in fact I may even retain 80 from something else I owe you.

      Just speculating?

I came across it using the following:
Liverpool Crown Court Listings, hearings, cases & details
then I scrolled down until I came across WG listing and then use the arrow on left to get brief update.

If he goes down we are totally stuffed. To be fair, probably we are totally stuffed anyway.

We will lose his legal advice and probably his money too. I can't see him funding a defence for the FTTT when in prison - or funding the ECHR case. I might be wrong.

I just hope common sense will prevail and he is found innocent - then we don't have to find out.
