    Sorry, but anyone still using a scheme at the moment must have a screw loose. Seriously - if I had a contractor using such a scheme, I would fire them, because their ability to adequately evaluate risk is clearly lacking. The pressure on tax avoidance schemes is only going in one direction.

    And I doubt buy the "I'm already in too deep to matter" - sounds too much like a gambling addict making "one last punt" to clear their debts.

    Rule #1 when in a hole : Stop f****** digging....

                  I know some super smart guys that are brilliant at their jobs that are still on schemes. I have discussed the issues (to put it politely) with this, but they are confident their providers know what they are doing.

                    I hope they are spending all the cash or prepared to move abroad.

                    Hopefully, HMRC are changing the rules to stop the avoidance. Prospectively.
