    Stamp and Sign on Payslip

    Hi,

I have been working as contractor from last two years.

I am preparing to apply for tier 1 extension and for that I need payslips that has company stamp and signed. My Ltd company is registered at accountants address.

I have got a stamp which has my home address, should I use my home address stamp on payslip or buy another one with registered address?

Also what address should be there on divided voucher?

Can Dividend Voucher has register address and Payslip my home address, means could they differ?

Accountant said it does not matter, you can say your home address is your branch or main address.

Have you spoken to the organisation that processes your Tier 1 Visa application to ask if what you have been provided is enough? You may want to ask your Accountant to provide a cover letter to confirm that what you have been issued in terms of Dividend Vouchers and Payslips is a true and accurate reflection of your earnings through your Limited Company.
If your company is the best place to work in, for a mere £500 p/d, you can advertise here.

Interesting, I suspect the idea behind this is to prove you are working as a Highly Skilled migrant being employed by a company. Where in fact because of the way we contractors pay ourselves, you are actually paying yourself ie the company paying you is yours.

So what does a payslip stamped by yourself actually prove?

That the system is open to abuse?

UKBA policy guidence states that if you are submitting payslip it should have company stamp and should be signed as well.

Just realised policy guidence does not say that stamp should have address.

I have got the workaround, had a new duplicate rubber stamp, I splitted that and removed the address part, aligned logo and name. This way I can stamp payslip without worrying about address.

Thanks a lot guys for all the reponses.
