    S660

    Hi,
Does anyone know if S660 would apply in the following circumstance:

    - Limited company,
    - Director is partner (not wife/husband),
    - I am a non-shareholder employee.

    Thanks

How are you shifting income if you are not a shareholder?

People must again learn to work, instead of living on public assistance." Cicero

I think he is saying he does the work and earns the money but his partner gets all the benefits i.e. min wage and all divis.

If that's the case then there could be an issue, unless there's a commercial reason for it being set up that way.....? If it's being done for tax reasons then it would appear to be the very reason behind s660 being in existence - HMRC would be able to argue that the income should be yours, and tax it as if it was.
