What seems to be happening is anyone who's registered with the FSA is credit checking every applicant, despite the FSA rules actually saying that a limited number of people - those who are "Controlled Persons" in "Approved Roles" such as advice givers and directors of the company - need to be creditworthy. Like security clearance for applicants, it's all unnecessary bollocks.
As usual we are suffering at the hands of people who don't know the rules driving their own business. I know one programme that's had to refuse 40% of its successful applicants because of this, and it's getting to be a real issue.Blog? What blog...?Comment
