Annual Return I screwe dup my PAYE payments

I have been taking out an exact figure for my monthly dividends to handle expenses and salary.

I just realised I should have been taking out a specific amount for my PAYE.

How do I best proceed before doing my annual return? Should I claim PAYE as part of this? Should I pay money back into my business account? DO I make a nil return?

What is the best course of action, it was a completely retarded honest mistake - I basically assuemd my accountants had set it up but they hadnt ( they ahve access to my account but I just found an email from 4 months ago where they ask me to setup the direct debit - f***).

I am looking for what steps I need to take.

Thank you very much for your help.

You have an accountant. Go back and ask him. It is what you pay him for.

      WHS

It should be simple enough for them to sort out.

Like the others said, either get your accountant to sort it for you or if you don't have one then engage an accountant and get them to fix it all.

As for getting in trouble, don't worry too much about it, HMRC are usually fairly sympathetic to mistakes if you are new to running a small business and the amounts involved are probably relatively small.
