Early days but they seem like a breath of fresh air compared to the 2 accountants I tried previously.
I agree with Kanye. Intouch have really taken the hassle out of doing my accounts.

Like VectraMan says SJD's fees are £105 + VAT per month, we increased the fee at the start of the year for new clients from £95 + VAT. This is also the first fee increase for over three years.

        It's still £1512 a year.

Sure some is VAT, sure there's some corp tax benefit but for me it comes down to £1512 vs. £1080 for £75 per mo (presumably excl. of VAT) - not a vast amount on paper but too much for me in principle @ a time when I could do without it & for a service that whilst ok, isn't hassle free.

          £75 x 12 = £900
          £105 x 12 = £1260
          £1260 - £900 = £360
          £360 * 21% = £75.60
          £360 - £75.60 = £284.40
          £284.40 / 240 working days a year = £1.19 per day

So how much do you earn a day....?

If time equals money. I rather spend my time doing something else.

As I've said many times before, if you do it yourself the cost is doubled; one for doing unpaid work and one for doing it your free time.

The real point is that if any accountant costs you money, they're doing it wrong. Like any good accountant, SJD have been getting me more money a year than they charge me.

The general point is that it appears you can get the same level of service as SJD from other accountants for 2/3 their fees. Do they have a usp which justifies these higher costs (q for SJD) ?

Lies, damned lies and statistics. Two thirds the fees? Let's have a little perspective, please. If you're really worried about £300 a year, why not do it yourself and save the other £750?

By all means moan about the service they deliver, but the expenditure is trivial.
