Personally, I would advise against doing it that quick.

For every one person who has been satisfied with a randomly selected accountant, there will be ten who are unhappy.

Take advice on your choice of accountant first and then phone them.

IMO, that advice only applies if you're going to get them to do your monthly PAYE. If all you want them to do is your year-end accounts, then you can't really go wrong.

You need to make sure that the accountant advertises that they deal with small businesses though.
