    Online filing incentive

A little while back I had a thing from HMRC saying I was due some dosh wrt the online filing incentive a couple of years back. As I was retired, there was no PAYE tax to deduct it from and I assumed it was only available if you paid tax. Otherwise, what was to stop anyone starting a company and getting a few hundred profit by claiming it?

Was the incentive due even if you did file nil returns? Can't find any answers on that.

    Cheers.

Is this the £75 incentive? If yes, how do you get it. As in 2009 I had a letter from my accountant who said I would get a PAYE rebate of £75 - I don't recall as having received this. I keep asking my accountant and they aren't the greatest in following up. Is there a dept at HMRC I can query this with?

        Thanks in advance
