    Debt chasing in Belgium ?

    Hi,

This hasn't actually happened yet but there is a definite ... lethargy in my current agents' behaviour regarding invoices so...

Can anyone tell me what the situation is in Belgium wrt chasing invoices ? In the UK you write a letter giving 14 days before legal action will be taken then you get one of the very cheap web solicitors firms to write a letter. If that fails you can start a claim via the web.

So what's the equivalant course of action in Belgium ? And links to the relevant websites would be useful too...

    Many thanks,

    Boo

Thanks for the interesting link, but I am still interested to hear from anyonw who has successfully pursued an agency through the Belgian courts.
