    Yes, why not.

It is more likely that your MP will pass it on to Mark Hoban, Financial Secretary to the Treasury, so an additional letter to Osborne wouldn't hurt.

I am not going to try and pretend that the prospects of getting s58 overturned are great but I hope you will all agree that we should do something.

A detailed letter has been prepared to send to Tory and Libdem MPs.

If your MP is Labour, fear not because it can be sent directly to the Chancellor himself.

Full instructions are included in the letter.

      Thank you!
Great letter - sent mine to my MP.

          Letter Sent

A nicely constructed letter of facts. Thanks DR.

My MP is Steve Brine (Con.) who gained the seat from Mark Oaten (Lib-Dem). He is a fresh, new MP with an electorate that will be watching his progress.

I'll let you know what response

            Progress update

So far, just over 50 people have agreed to send the letter. It has gone to several prominent Ministers, a few to Osborne and one to Cameron.

            Keep those requests coming.

Email me at [email protected] and I'll reply with a copy.

Yes, it's a bit of a longshot but we'd be crazy not to even try when both the Conservatives and Libdems voted against BN66.

            Thanks!
            DR

Popping out to post the letter to the chancellor now.

For the bone idle , here is the address for George Osborne:

                  Rt Hon George Osborne MP
                  Chancellor of the Exchequer
                  HM Treasury
                  Horse Guards Road
                  LONDON SW1A 2HQ

Even if people think this is a complete waste of time, what is there to lose?

Don't we at least deserve an explanation from the new government as to why they wouldn't address something which they vociferously opposed on principle at the time? They have already gone against convention by announcing a Great Repeal Bill to correct the mistakes of Labour.

Doesn't our plight at least deserve consideration?

Email me at [email protected] for a copy of the letter.

Why not write your own letter and email it to your MP through this link:

                      www.writetothem.com

At least you know nearly 60 people have already done likewise.
