The date of the emergency budget has been announced as Tuesday 22nd June, 5 weeks tomorrow.

I am not going to try and pretend that the prospects of getting s58 overturned are great but I hope you will all agree that we should do something.

A detailed letter has been prepared to send to Tory and Libdem MPs.

If your MP is Labour, fear not because it can be sent directly to the Chancellor himself.

Even if people think this is a complete waste of time, what is there to lose?

Don't we at least deserve an explanation from the new government as to why they wouldn't address something which they vociferously opposed on principle at the time? They have already gone against convention by announcing a Great Repeal Bill to correct the mistakes of Labour.

Doesn't our plight at least deserve consideration?
