I cant wait! Why post Monday though, there's been plenty of time to get this out today.
I would like to see some real advice from MTM instead of the rhetoric I've received from them the last 9 years.
IMO, people will now fall into 2 groups, those who have nothing to lose by fighting on and those who can pay what's outstanding as their exposure is less than say 25k and want the monkey off their back.
i have to say if my exposure was "Only" 25k i would fight on also, as the interest wouldnt be killing me as much, but your right, i think alot of people want the monkey off their backs, but i also know alot of people have thought aboout it over night and are fighting on.
When is comes to the HMRC and Gordy. Im a fighter not a lover
Before we consider deals (remember, we're being totally cheated by this) we need to take stock of the advice from MTM which they assure me is being posted to us on Monday. Let's wait a few days more and then decide what our options are. I'm sure we will feel better once we know the full(er) story
these are the same people who never mentioned the scheme was under investigation when I joined?

Im in a thrid group where yes I can pay.. But there is no way in hell. The principle for what we are fighting for here is far too great to just let go, take a short term financial hit and move on. This war needs to be won. This government has lied, deceived, manipulated, bullied and encroached on just about every aspect of our (and in this sentence I am referring to the whole country, not just the targetted 66'ers* ) lives for far too long. time for the people to stand up and fight back .... now where is that Rage Against the Machine single I bought last year....
(* 66'ers name swiped from someone who called us that in the general forum)

I'm expecting them to tell us what we already know..written appeal submission and oral one if refused.
I'm hoping for some guidelines as to what happens if both these fail which imo is looking likely but maybe thats because i'm in a foul mood today
why dont we all buy ferraris (a nice 550) with the money we owe, get a older one so it doest depreciate much over the next year, at least we can enjoy the money for a year, when the baliffs come, they will like you as well as they can drive it back to gordos place

Mine's a six figure sum, but for my sanity to remain intact I'd like to see the back end of my Monkey, we fight on.
On the positive side.... At least the hand of the HMRC is now laid out on the table we know what we are fighting against, that is apart from the other deck they have stashed under the table.

NAA Stuff that.... we should each get an Aston Martin each and stack them up outside Downing Street.
