At what point does a Ltd become unviable?

I used to reap the reward of a Ltd when my day rates were £200+ but I've been reduced to taking contracts that typically pay £100-£130 over the past year.

With little sign of improvement it just doesn't seem worth the bother any more as with most contracts you can negate almost all the tax on salary with expenses.

At what point would would people quit the Ltd? I reckon below £20 per hour makes it more hassle than its worth.
Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave Johnson

Erm, this might be a bit of a technicality but I don't think stormtroopers actually did the building work of the battle stations did they? Wouldn't they have like builders n stuff to do that?

I'm no expert, but what alternatives would you consider? Brolly or agency payroll I guess. I expect the latter is more cost effective. I'm not sure what brolly fees are though.

£100 quid a day?? Or an hour??

Seriously is it worth working for that rate?
