Seriously is it worth working for that rate?
£100 a day is £23200 a year allowing for four weeks on hols.
Plenty of support roles are coming in at around this rate - times are hard!
Better than the dole I should think.

Better off having a drone type job as a staff guy at those rates, I would think.

I've just jacked in a £100 a day job but I'm glad I took it rather than sitting at home on my fat arse unlike some of you benchers

Closing my Ltd isn't wasn't really an option for me and I've not discussed if I could get a discount from my fixed £77 a month accounting fee if it goes almost dormant (probably none).

Brollies charge x, your Ltd actually earns you a couple of quid from online filing incentives if you do all the accounting yourself. If you do pay for an accountant (which I'm probably going to try and roll without in the future) then that would be somewhat offset by flat rate VAT, I've forgotten the incentive, is it 2%? (£466)

Putting NI into the mix...Ltd all the way baby....even if you're only earning beans.

It's not ideal but times are tough, should I just let the house get repossessed?

Seeing as most people in Britain work for less should they all jack it in too?

Some people on here are as far removed from reality as city bankers.
