    child vouchers and passport fee

    Friends
I have my limited company and wanted to check if I can setup a child voucher scheme and how can I get it moving.I need to pay my child minder every week so if the amount £243 /month can go towards tax deductible expense then it will save a lot.I read through the forum an there were few links but I couldn't get a clear view hence asking again. If I can know step by step of getting this done it will be helpful. Also can I claim all my past payments that i made to my child minder or it only kicks of once I setup and account.

2.My client has various offices in europe which I may need to travel normally people get business visa but I applied for british passport so can I show it as tax deductible expense

    Thanks

        2. Possibly. If the **sole** reason for the passport is to travel to those offices you can claim it.

I believe child vouchers have to go to a registered scheme.

Be a bit hard to justify it had no BIK, especially if it's linked to a citizenship application...

Agreed, if it passes wholly, necessarily and exclusively - at the time of application - then it is claimable though. It's just unlikely.

                one more query

Thanks friends for all your responses..if I transfer child care amount from business a/c direct to nursery's a/c can I still claim it as expense and will it be tax deductible or is it necessary that I go through child care provider (like companies do) to make it tax deductible

                thanks

There are other posts on CUK giving information about setting up an "approved" employer scheme - as long as the provider itself is registered.
