Anyone who is in this situation should take some legal advice to find out where they stand.
Not sure for people tax resident in other jurisdictions.
Hi, I would like to take contact with people who were working with Connxion, as it was my case.
As PM is not allowed for me, any help is appreciated.

I believe that the best would be for former contractors to meet and have a chat all together, but I think this will be impossible (confidentiality impossible in this forum).

Alternatively, if someone has reached a personal agreement with the tax authorities, many would be interested (without entering into details, of course).
    Thanks.

You can create a private Google+ group, but you'll need to vet people who want to join.

I'll ask Admin to give you PM rights and you can contact turnover, Old Kent Road or convict who explain how to do this.

              Hi,
Can I also get access to this chat forum. Have some more information on the approach being taken by the authorities.

              Thanks

Group approach for legal advice Re Connexion

                Hi All,
Was looking to see if there is any interest in grouping together for some legal advice regarding the tax investigation in Connexions contractors. I cannot see how the Lux government/regulator can claim to have no responsibility in this case. Connexions schemes and those like them have been prevalent in Luxembourg for many years. I would imagine that the regulator must have some responsibility to those employees who are attracted to work in Luxembourg because of these schemes to ensure that they are legally compliant. Currently, it appears that the Lux authorities are washing their hands of any responsibility and pointing the finger solely at individuals. Whilst I agree that payments should be made to the tax office, I believe that the authorities should put together a scheme to enable this tax issue to be handled in the same way for all affected parties and incorporate a system which reflects the failures on the part of the authorities. eg a flat fine per year that a contractor was part of the scheme or a % reduction in the back taxes due. From looking at earlier posts regarding the situation in Belgium, this appears to be the way that the authorities there handled it.
                Thoughts anyone ?
