I remeber that you make the CT payment a month before the accounts are due, but when I send in the CT payment is that all I need to send in along with the payment slip or do I need to send them the short return as well at the same time or anything else ?

Just make a payment to the account number as detailed on the back of the CT due form. Online is simplest. No need to send any other documents with the payment.
The accounts and computations accompany the completed form which as you say is due a month later.bloggoth
