    Abbey Business Internet banking screwed

Is anyone else seeing that Abbey Business Internet banking is screwed following this weekend's upgrade?

I now find that all of my standing orders are missing (presumably cancelled without my authority), two Direct Debits are missing (again presumably cancelled), I can't create new standing orders and I can't create one-off payments.

Most worrying is a new Direct Debit I know nothing about to an organisation that I use, but the DD for their firm is on a different account and with a different reference number.

Can't get through to Abbey on the call centre numbers. Nothing showing on The Register.

    Anyone seeing similar?

It mostly works... but my DD with HMRC for VAT is missing. But at least the balance and transactions look correct.

Nope, the idiots have royally screwed it up.

I was filled with trepidation when we were notified of the "improvements" - which generally mean further layers of meaningless security that does nothing but give the banks further "get outs" and just cause’s fury amongst customers.

And thanks for the notice. You know, they've been telling us it's been coming for weeks, and then they just pull the service down (with no notice) for the entire weekend! What a bunch of tw*ts.

I can't transfer money between accounts. Lost a SO payment. I can't get any help due to "unprecedented demand".

So, where should I move my account to - carter allen are part of santander now aren't they?

You get what you pay for. Sigh.

f*$"&ing Abbey - They have really B*llsed it up - How can you transfer between accounts now :-

          1) Spend 45 minutes on the phone to talk to a twat who said it can only been done via the phone now and put me through to another number - which just rang and rang.

          2) Phoned again 45 minutes to a twat-ette - who said the account weren't linked - and she 'linked' them. Anyway - I knew it was to good to be true and it hasn't made f'all difference.

          3) In the queue again now - 'I'm very sorry were all busy at the moment helping other customers'...........arrrgggghh !!

I've a feeling we're now on the "retail" online banking platform too, so we get to speak to the brain dead retards at the call center. Oh joy.

I've just given up trying to tranfer money between my current and reserve account too. Both show on the front page but don't seem to be linked when you go into either and try to 'move money' which was always the option.

An why do you need about 4 different UserID/PersonalID/Whatever-elseID? I'm never going to have a scooby which code is required.

Glad it's not just me then. It's not actually my contracting Ltd Co accounts at Abbey, but instead it's my Plan B sole trader accounts. But, that includes 4 x mortgage Direct Debits on investment properties. If they bounce the Direct Debits and make me incur penalty fees from the mortgage lenders then I'll sue their f'ing arses off.

                    Marvellous. Not!

I feared the worst when I read about the changed security etc. Havent tried to log into the account yet which has been very good imo.

If it aint broke, dont fecking fix it!
I couldn't give two fornicators! Yes, really!
