    So what next?

Perhaps he's got other more pressing things on his mind!
As I see it, we have 3 choices now:

    1) Let it drop, and await the outcome of JR

    2) Write back to MPs and get them to demand answers of the Treasury

    3) Try a different tack (see below)

Yes mine was very dull too. Reams of statement pages which have left me as baffled as before. I was actually trying to understand a £100 discrepancy in my SA statement but neither this nor conversations with HMRC have been able to enlighten me.

        Fraud...

        Hello,

Is it just me, or does anyone else have the opinion that Elliot Morley has committed fraud, and the police should be looking into this. How can an MP who has effectively (allegedly) taken £16,000 of public money for a non-existent claim get away with just repaying it. If this was any one of us we would be receiving a knock at the front door, and some lengthy questioning at the local police station.

The hypocricy of these people is staggering, and we clearly live in a "Don't do as I do, do as I retrospectively tell you" state.

Where did I put the Australian Visa forms...

If a complaint is made to the police, they are duty bound to investigate it.

              Expenses...

What really gets me is that they all think by just saying sorry and handing back some of the ridiculous claims that we will all forgive them.

It is obvious that the majority seem to have had their hands in the public till for years now, and it's only because it's blown up in their faces that they are now changing anything.

To think that these crooks have the nerve to say that the scheme we used was among "...the worst cases of avoidance..." whilst stealing public money is making me really MAD !!!tantrum:

And where is HMRC? They have a £1billion budget to pursue to aggressively pursue those who 'bend the rules', we re told. Where the hell are you now, Hector?

Perhaps they just need a prompt. There is nothing stopping you or me or anyone else here making a complaint. You can even do it anonymously...

One hopes that most won't be feeding them for much longer
