A bit about me: I have 2.5 years exposure with MontP, have not yet purchased a CTD and have not received any CN. Oh and I know BrilloPad and a few others on here so I'm not 'you-know-who'
welcome to the forum and thanks for de-lurking

Lets pretend I dont know who you are - do you have the money for a CTD? Do you have a mortgage?

And thanks for the email of complaint asking why I had not replied to your post!

I hope they barcapboyz are still here - I think they **might** be your mates......

dya know what if we win I would be more than happy to put into a Natalie and Tony fund and buy them both a holiday somewhere nice....small price to pay, and if we were to all put in £20 each that would soon add up to a tidy sum....!!!!

Yes some would argue they are only doing their job, but if they werent I could be facing bankruptcy or a £100k tax bill....

Can we put it in now? With the acculumated interest over the 4+ years it will amount to a tidy sum.....

it would probably be seen as a corp gift or something and Mr B would want to tax it at 40%

Surely it wouldn't be any different than having a whip round for someone's birthday or leaving present?

Although the total raised might be a large sum, it would be comprised of small individual gifts which are not taxable.

The time to do this is when we have the big celebration party (which I dream about regularly).

PS. and I think we can do better than 20 quid a head!!!

With the base rate expected to be close to zero within a few months, I'm not sure the interest would amount to much. And of course, it would be taxable!

Can you confirm that the celebration party will be open to EVERYBODY? We dont want the police to raid it!

Absolutely. Even "you know who" will be invited.
