As I only received the CN on the 7th November their maths seems to be a bit out. When I rang them to complain they could not even work out why I had been sent one and said these weren;t due until the 10th December

I hope their Christmas meal isn't in a brewery as I bet there won't be a lot of alcohol around....

    MajorGowen...
Looks like you were lucky just to get a letter - I expected them to send the baliffs in.

I assume you forwarded onto montp? What do they say?

I do hope montp will raise an official harrassment complaint......

"Yes yet another cockup.... they can't charge the 5% until 28 days after the money becomes due which won't be until we potentially lose!!"

This is getting beyond a joke.

I also got late payment surcharge notices. Spoke to MP and will be sending them over. BUT I reckon its game playing, they are doing the "Oh so sorry didnt mean to send them out" when really they are trawling for some poor unsuspecting people to get scared and pay up...They know EXACTLY what they are doing, dont fall for poor admin as an excuse to let them off the hook...

Did you mean DR? Isn't DK the city abbreviation for "Don't Know" when someone tries to welch on as trade?

I also have to say that the longer this goes on and the more I read about HMRC's behaviour, the more disgusted I feel about them...and the more resolved I become to see this thru to the bitter end...

I sincerely hope that HMRC gets his proverbial lights punched out at the JR or ECHR (wherever it happens to be) and I really hope that I can be there to gloat over the body...

I also think that it is just brilliant that there are more and more people de-lurking...there seems to have been a lot of people who have stepped out of the shadows recently...welcome to you all...you are now part of an ever growing group of people who are refusing to be intimidated by HMRC's underhand actions...with you, we will be even stronger...

also wanted to give credit where credits due...DR and BP...to both of you, A BIG THANK YOU for keeping this thread going and for keeping the faith strong...without your constant flow of information, we would not be as strong...keep up the good work...

I sincerely hope that one day, when this is over and we've beaten HMRC that I can share with you a pint and a meal....on me, of course...
