Being on it, pointer to inside IR35 or not? Thoughts?

Irrelevant, I'd have thought - you could argue people need to get in touch with you in relation to the list of tasks you are contracted to deliver. One of my fellow contractors has got himself appointed fire warden which I thought was going a bit far.

Jeez, I think that is definitely over the mark.

Just wanted to check in case it pointed towards being part of the organisation.

It would be deemed a pointer but probably not significant enough to merit too much concern. Provided you're covered for D&C, MOO, Substitution etc I wouldn't be too worried.

What rubbish! Being on a directory wouldnt be deemed a pointer. Some people are just raving paranoid.
I couldn't give two fornicators! Yes, really!

Strictly speaking (and not being paranoid), I would think that if the directory is called "Employee Contact List", then being on it would be a minor pointer within IR35.

If the directory is called "Internal Directory" than I can't see it being a pointer one way or the other.

I wouldn't really worry about it - as already said, though, if you can get anything in there that refers to your external email, or company, then that would be better than not.
