Moving from Umbrella to Ltd mid contract

I am currently 1 month into a 6 month contract and would like to move from the umbrella company to my Ltd company I have just setup. I have called the agent and they have advised that I am unable to change payment to my Ltd while I am mid contract due to "legislation". How true is this and would it be a wise move mid contract anyway?

    Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I wonder if you're with the same agency?

Why would the Agency give a P45? Surely that would be the brolly?
