Thanks Guys, my understanding is getting there slowly ;-) Your help is appreciated as always. So my last question is how come not all expenses appear on the P11D? I assume it is simply that certain categories of expense e.g. stationary, computer equipment, insurances, books, christmas parties etc.. can specifically be excluded from the form? (these are all things I have claimed as expenses but that I understand are not going to go onto my P11D).

Don't go there. We've been arguing for years about that one...Originally posted by ittony View PostDoes PCG membership have to go on the P11D does anyone know?
FWIW accepted wisdom is that it is a business expense that you wouldn't have to pay for if you weren't in business, so it is not a BIK, so it doesn't need to go on the P11D.Blog? What blog...?

Cleared this up with the accountants today - shouldn't be on the P11D after all, so I owe the company some money to balance the directors loan.Originally posted by Danbro View Post
Moorfields appear completely different, it appears that his IPOD has been treated as dissallowed and put to his directors loan account and therefore not included in his accounts as an asset. I cant see how this would then go on his P11d and potentially it may not have done if he repaid the funds, if that occured it would be almost like the transaction didnt occur.
Thanks
The bloddy ipod is hopeless anyway, battery keeps draining it never seems to last more than a day. Think I will be discarding it on ebay soon!Comment

Glad you got it sorted, I have an IPOD touch, I agree with the battery, forever on charge.
Thanks
