Thanks Guys, my understanding is getting there slowly ;-) Your help is appreciated as always. So my last question is how come not all expenses appear on the P11D? I assume it is simply that certain categories of expense e.g. stationary, computer equipment, insurances, books, christmas parties etc.. can specifically be excluded from the form? (these are all things I have claimed as expenses but that I understand are not going to go onto my P11D).

FWIW accepted wisdom is that it is a business expense that you wouldn't have to pay for if you weren't in business, so it is not a BIK, so it doesn't need to go on the P11D.Blog? What blog...?Comment

Thanks
The bloddy ipod is hopeless anyway, battery keeps draining it never seems to last more than a day. Think I will be discarding it on ebay soon!Comment

Glad you got it sorted, I have an IPOD touch, I agree with the battery, forever on charge.
Thanks
