'm just going into my third year with the same client. Should I stop claiming mileage allowance to and from their offices? If I do, there's little expenses I wll be running through the company. Apart from PCs, accountants etc, what else do you folkks claim?

Do a search this question has come up many times already.
Firstly you cannot claim any expenses from the time you were aware that you would be more then 2 years on the client site.
Secondly you can continue to claim all other expenses.
If you want any explanation in to the what's and why's then you need to use the search facility, because as I mentioned before this question has come up lots of times with detailed information provided in the answers."You’re just a bad memory who doesn’t know when to go away" JR -

All my genuinely incurred business expenses go through the company. Anything else doesn't.Originally posted by yetanotherone View PostApart from PCs, accountants etc, what else do you folkks claim?
As SueEllen says - do a search for the two year rule. You cannot claim travel expenses once you know that the contract will run for over two years.Comment

You could try claiming for:
Artwork to hang in your company office.
An LCD TV.
Your weekly shop provided that you are staying away from home.
Decorating your spare bedroom / home office.
Furniture.
And don't forget a ride-on mower for your company.

I did admit that one failed...
Anyway, for the OP there is the possibility that the travel expenses are claimable. This depends on how you operate. Essentially provided you do substantive (which is not necessarily substantial) work from you office - if you have one - then the travel may be claimable. However, if your pattern is 9-5 clients office 5 days a week it is not going to be claimable.Comment

You can claim whatever you like. Whether it's viewed as a BIK or not is a different matter...
