Well DP you were quite brutal, not every-one is as technically trained as you maybe. I am still quite new to testing, so if you didn't have several programming languages and the right amount of experience you were doomed. Also there were about 90 applicants to every job vacancy.
To MrRobin, LOL! If I did sell Sub Prime loans, I'd have been given a golden good bye and been a millionaire by now!!!
To the other guys with the useful advice, yes SJD are my accountants, although I think they are really only interested in whether I have paid their fees or not. i do owe all those various taxes and i am quite worried as working as a permanent employee, I am not rolling in it. Are there any week-end testing roles available?
