    Rental Payments

Can someone please confirm if a contractor is non-domiciled they can claim back their rental payments as a non taxable expense.

Any other advantageous tax breaks for being non donmiciled?

    Thanks.

No, why should you be able to do that?

You pay tax on a remittance basis only. It would be perverse if the things that you spent the remitted money on were deductable.

Nothing to do with domicile, but if you have a house that you leave empty while you are temporarily contracting (time limit might be six months) then you can count rent as a business expense.
