    Private messages not working?

Appreciate this isn't an "accounting" topic as such, but...
I got an email that a user had sent a DM. It included a preview of the message. All good so far.
I login to CUK, click into the message...but it's blank.
First thought is perhaps the sender decided to delete the content after sending, something like that.
I reply, just saying I seem to have got a blank message from them.
Soon after I get another email notifying me they've replied. The email includes a preview (asking if I meant to write something, as the message was blank)...but again when logged into CUK and in the message section, their message looks blank (my prior message to them I can still read fine).
Guessing this is a gremlin in the system?

Received (content actually there) and replied.
I've tried sending you a private image of the less successful exchange...if nothing else to prove I've not made this up

I recall experiencing this before. Is it a user without full DM rights or something, i.e., a new user with sub-5 posts or something, I forget(?) Anyway, I have definitely experienced this.

Ah, maybe that's it. I don't want to "out" the specific user publicly, but yes, per their profile it looks like they only joined the site yesterday, and haven't posted anything yet.

Yeah, I forget whether a mod needs to grant them full rights or that happens automatically after a few posts without getting banned , but that is likely the issue.

              That's exactly it.

But just to throw a further spanner in the works, the guy trying to contact Maslins hasn't even tried to make a post, just signed up and tried to send a PM. Until they attempt to make a post, we can't approve them to send PMs.

So surely they could just look up Maslins' website if they just want to talk to an accountant?

In case googling the name is too hard.. https://www.maslins.co.uk/

I have a suspicion that all is not as it seems with that particular user, and maybe they want to remain anonymous. (And no, they aren't Hector)
