Overseas client legal and tax advice

    Hi,

Can anybody recommend a legal and tax advisor that can advise on international client scenarios?
My accountant is great for the majority of my contracts which are with UK clients, but shrugs their shoulders when I start asking them about cross-border taxes.
The legal side is a concern also, so need both as a one stop shop ideally.

    Thanks,
    CS

    It depends - which country?
The advice will depend on each country (or country group), how the role is arranged, where you will be working etc. Working in Belgium has different requirements to working in France. Working remotely for a US company with a US contract is different to working for a US company with a Swiss contract.
Unfortunately there isn't a blanket global answer, and when it comes down to the technicalities, if you are going to be working in a particular country, you may want to get advice from local legal & tax experts.
I'll just repeat what I said at the start (and based on my experience - It depends.
…Maybe we ain’t that young anymore
