PII but all business is in the US

    Hi All

Got a contract and have everything set up except for PII. I'm having real problems getting a quote because 100% of my revenue is from the US. Are there any specialist providers out there that are known of? My accountants (Gorilla) recommended QDOS but they couldn't offer a policy because my US revenue is >50%.

We've had a thread about this in the past. Let me see if I can find it

EDIT : We've actually had quite a few it seems but none seem to have an answer.

Yeah, I tried the google search but just couldn't find an answer. Hopefully somebody can help at some point.

The contract doesn't actually require it, but it's something that I definitely want in place.

I go through Randell Dorling (was underwritten by Hiscox, now AXA), but Kingsbridge is another option.

They seem to be now called Blackmore Borely?

Have you tried Kingsbridge? They were able to add US cover for me.

I don't think there has been a name change, but I do vaguely recall that they were associated with Blackmore Borely (somehow) from the very beginning.

It was just odd that a google for them didn't bring up their website but did mention BB. Strange because I always thought they were quite a big outfit

Odd that a search wouldn't find them. Not sure, but I think they're a fairly small outfit in the scheme of things, specialising in contractors and the self-employed, much like Kingsbridge.

For reference, spoke to Kingsbridge and explained my business. The lady I spoke to sucked air through her teeth and said she'd have to speak to the underwriters and call me back, handed over my number and my email. This was last week, haven't heard anything back. Going to give a call to the other suggestion on this thread.
