PAYE to Ltd Calcs

What percentage do you guys use when calculating the "Ltd Coy" rate for a contract where it has been advertised as PAYE.

I am currently using 22% (holidays and employers NI) added on top which assumes they do the basic 20 days holiday.

Now I'm only using that as that was what the first agency told me was the extra a Ltd would recieve just want to make sure I am using the right one.

Usual rule of thumb is gross annual salary divided by 1000 equals hourly rate. That assumes normal employee benefits, of course: if there's cars and bonuses and stuff you need to add a value for them as well.

I think you're answering the wrong question malvolio.

I think that Sockpuppet wants to know: if a temp agency quotes him
a rate of 15 pounds per hour "agency PAYE" what is the equivilent hourly rate for "ltd".

Aye.

Last rate was £200 PAYE and they offered me £244.00 which is ~22% more.

I don't do hourly / daily rates as I'm a chump. I take each job and the rate on its merits.

For example I am talking to a large port who are thinking of a £250 day rate but I would happily take £200 a day just to get this kick ass project on the CV (its also a 18 month contract) where as a another place offered me £250 but I turned it down as I tulip you not the work would have made me kill myself it looked that dull
