    Security Clearance in 1 week!

    Hi,

I secured a job(a bank) last month and the company applied for my Security Clearance at nsv. mod.uk

Submitted all my details Monday morning. I got couple of emails from enquiring them asking about my to check about my certification and mother's surname and any other address within 5 years. By Friday (in 5 days) I see the progress status as "Complete". I am getting worried how come the process is complete in 5 days?

Being pessimistic Does it take just 1 week to conclude if it was a failed/rejected outcome?

This is first time I am going through this is the page status

    Your application's status is: Completed

SC Completed. (Submitted on: dd/mm/yyyy hh:mm)

I dont have anything as such to worry about, but 1 week to complete SC!

My last one was 2/3 weeks.
One week sounds quick but they won’t reject that quick.
Are you sure it doesn’t just mean the application is complete?

The vetting agency have done their thing. Now the client security team will need to make their assessment based on that result.

But yes, it wss quite quick. Must b e a quiet week at NSV.

But SC is done byt the MOD using the National Security Vetting Solution Internet Portal. Which is the link the OP put.

                *their*

That's my experience too, but the OP said it was via nsv.mod.uk
Although we've had some fibs on here recently.

                  Updated original post as well.

I did speak to NSVS and they said process is complete and its up to the sponsor and I have speak to the sponsor. I am expecting some communication from then soon.

That just means your applicaion is complete.

The clue is here "Your application's status is: Completed"

How long from now depends on if they've paid for extradited vetting, and how much research they need to do. My last one was 2 weeks from this point. That was extradited and I've held it twice before.
